To set the default values to your form follow the steps below (also shown in the video):
Go to My Forms
Select the form you want add the default values to (on the left)
Click the Customize button
Type your value directly inside the form field
This will be a default value for all submissions created with this form.
An example of this would be if you want to add your company information statically as a default value to some of the fields at the creation of a submission. This is typically info that is not change from customer to customer.
Note: This is not the same as the Import Previous Submission action.
Fields that do not allow default values to be set:
Signature Field
File Upload Field
Customer/Site Fields
Task Scheduler Field
Note: Default values are not recommended for table fields used for dynamic device and data entry. This information changes from submission to submission, so having it live in the form template is not recommended.
